Black and White Pendant by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos, 1965
BLACK & WHITE pendant lamp (with Pier Giacomo Castiglioni) Production: Flos "The Black & White lamp owes its name to the two types of light it emits. Diffused lighting is obtained by means of a white opaline glass dome containing a trio of light bulbs; the light directed towards horizontal surfaces is instead provided by a corrugated cup in mirror-polished natural aluminum, inserted in the lower part of the diffuser, which houses a silver-capped light bulb, in order to improve reflection.
