Bentwood chair mod. Fledermaus by Josef Hoffmann for Thonet, 1910s It is one of the most famous creations of the Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann, one of the founding fathers of the Viennese Secession. built in the early 1900s, they were used to furnish the Fledermaus Cabaret, one of the liveliest and most famous in Vienna at the time. The chair, in beech wood and Vienna straw, is presented here in the version produced by the famous Austrian company Thonet.
